The course and porous grouts of the past has been replaced with extremely fine materials that with additives become impenetrable and sealed. A crack by definition can be the defect in the product or can be presented by the space between two tiles or a tile and another surface as well. Thats why tiles are used in kitchens and bathrooms- for hygiene. I would happily use these tiles in an outdoor mural, but not inside the home. fantastic that you have moved away from the boring, minimilist neutral look. I cannot imagine a space where these colourful beauties will not enrich and bring warmth and happiness to a home.
