Minky Charcoal Greys and White Handmade Tiles For a Stunning Floor In a Cape Town Colonial Mansion.

Posted under Kitchens Tiles & Uncategorized

I am in the process developing new mat colours to be used in a floor mixed with some jewel like glassy green tiles. A checkerboard pattern with 100 x 100mm mat tiles and a border with a Mediterranean feel using 150 x 50mm tiles will be used for this bathroom’s floor tiles.

In the image you can view different tiles, some extruded, others moulded and some pressed. Presently I am doing the R&D to comply with this floor tile brief with the aim of creating a slight breakup of colour in this very stiff mat glazes.

These magnificent floor tiles used in combination with modern bathroom appliances will beĀ  a perfect match to feature and compliment the Contemporary Colonial design elements.

Yes, Gerrit! These colours will certainly be perfect with modern bathroom appliances. Most unusual and striking. Even with black appliances it will be stunning. Especially the pearly grey (they certainly make one think of jewels!) and plum coloured ones I can imagine with a border of charcoal and darker grey. Hope we will be able to view a complete bathroom soon!

Just got feedback from the client. I need to rework the whites slightly and create a bit of break up in the colour. Will post the next tests soon.
