Hierdie beeste is so eg, hoewel so fyn. Wat my veral opval is hul natuurlike kenmerkende gesigs-uitdrukkings en postuur wat onbeskryfbare emosies te voorskyn bring. Pragtig! Met die eerste blik hiervan het ek dadelik terug verlang na my kinderjare. Hierdie beeste is so eg, hoewel so fyn. I can not remember seeing these animals in the live before, but I do know now that they do represent our Africanness in the purest way. These animals are what they are, honest beings, uncorrupted and belonging to their land of birth! As a symbol I see them as being positive, a living being that endured and persevered, I do not experience them in the negative, with sadness watching the product of our earth marching of to Australia....
